Free site visit

I come and measure up, talk through the layout, and send a fixed price in writing. No obligation.

What a kitchen refit actually involves

A kitchen is the room you use every day and the one you notice every time something is slightly wrong. A drawer that catches, a worktop join in the wrong place, a socket behind the kettle you can never reach.

Most of that gets decided weeks before anything is installed. So we take the time to work it out on paper first, and then I fit it myself, so the person who planned it is the person holding the level.

What's included

Everything below is part of the price. There is no separate charge for prep, no line item for clearing up, and nothing gets added halfway through because it turned out to be more work than it looked.

Layout and planning

Where the sockets go, which way the doors swing, how much worktop you actually need either side of the hob. Settled before a single cabinet is ordered.

Plumbing, electrics and appliances

New runs where needed, extraction that actually extracts, and every appliance installed and tested before handover.

Cabinetry and worktops

Fitted on site and scribed to the walls, because no wall here is straight. Stone, quartz or laminate, cut and joined so the seams land where you will not see them.

Tiling and finishing

Splashbacks, floors and the trims that most people rush. Sealed and cleaned, with the old kitchen taken away.

Most kitchens take two to four weeks. I try to keep the sink and a worktop usable for as much of that as possible, because a month without a kitchen is a lot to ask of a household. Fixed price in writing before anything starts.
